INTRAVASCULAR LASER THERAPY
Having observed the many beneficial effects of therapeutic laser, scientists in the former Soviet Union sought to harness this powerful healing modality to treat the internal organs of the body. They directed the laser energy through a fiber optic cannula directly into the veins.
Their initial work showed impressive benefits mainly on the cardiovascular system which was their area of focus. Later these benefits were seen in every organ system of the body including the brain, lungs, pancreas, bowels, liver etc.
Many of these intravascular laser therapy studies were not acknowledged in the west until more recently due to language barriers and the Cold War. However many of these effects have now been replicated and confirmed. The table below lists a number of these scientifically established benefits.
